MMEC - Modern Group's new facility
Modern Modular Engineering & Construction Company (MMEC) is the sixth addition to a family-founded engineering group of companies, based in mainland China. MMEC was established in 2017, began construction in 2019, and started fabrication operations in 2020. The final phase of construction ended in 2021. In this brief period, driven by the Group's reputation for good quality and stable management, MMEC has won 50 international projects.

Workshops
MMEC utilizes 77,000m2 of covered workshops for structure fabrication, modular sub-assembly, modular plant assembly, piping prefabrication, blasting, and painting. Output: Steel Structures 6000mt/mo, Piping 500,000 DI/An. In addition, the site includes main offices, staff dormitories, and dining facilities.

Yard Area
The modular yard occupies 166,000m2, with a 20,000m2 module construction pad, construction crane & SPMT access, a 9,000m2 raw material storage area, a 9,000m2 finished product storage area, and a staff recreation area.

Port Facilities
Zhangjiagang Gangxin Heavy Equipment Port is 140km WNW of Shanghai Port, directly in front of the MMEC yard. The vessel pier is 1353 meters long and fed by two 36-meter roll-on / roll-off approaches. The water depth is 12 meters at the quay, and there is a river anchorage. The port has a 100,000m2 construction pad, separate warehousing, a delivery staging yard, and a total area of 540,000m2.

Logistics
Our project team will coordinate logistics to deliver your finished products. These services include providing portside or FOB delivery using SPMTs, trucks, port cranes, or other equipment. In addition, MMEC can provide freight quotes, book vessels, procure insurance, supply certificates of origin, witness loading, and take photographs of the loading operations. The Port Customs office is located adjacent to the MMEC yard.
